This is Toffee, one of the two Pygora goats we have here.  She is 12 years old.  A Pygora goat is a cross between a Pygmy and an Angora goat.   Ideally they are sheared yearly, and the wool is kept to be spun into yarn.  I had always thought I would do that, but 1. I never have learned to spin and 2. I don’t knit or crochet (yet).  But that does not keep me from having to shear them.  I actually did Toffee’s shearing and half of Nutmegs the day before yesterday.  Yesterday I could barely move.  I will hopefully get to the second half of Nutmeg today.  We shall see.

Stay cool out there !
